When I look at my church I see a wonderful group of people who love God and are truly are a reflection of his love. I am a member of a small Nazarene church which God lead me to three years ago. I am amazed by the acceptance and love that these people show to others and how they truly represent what is referred to as a church family. When you speak of a vision, I would love to see this church grow. When I look at my community, I see a need to open the doors of the church and reach out to touch lives in a new way. I think we may need to take the church to the people, in order to bring them into the church. So many people have been let down by the Church and I do not think that we do enough to touch and change lives in the community around us. I think it is easy for Christians to get in a mold and to continue to reach out to those who are in their circle and they fail to see beyond that circle. I think they forget to put on the eyes of God and see the need to reach out to those who are homeless, griped in addiction and those who are elderly and feel so alone. I think that the church needs to readjust their vision to include all of Gods people and not to those who look and act like they do. I think that we as Christians have let fear blur the vision God has for the church and we have allowed fear to keep us from seeing those who need to know God and to see the example Christ has left for us to follow.
