A Consultancy Report on improving Club Moativation (Crowne Plaza Plymouth Leisure Center) profitability

Create a consultancy report which analyses the leisure center of the Cowne Plaza Hotel in Plymouth UK (Club Moativation) and suggests ways to improve its profitability. A presentation prior this assignment was created including details of the operation itself and some its local competitors. The presentation will be attached separately and the report should focus mainly on the ideas in it. The marking criteria for the individual report will include: • Definition & Understanding of Project Issue/Problem • Analysis • Options and justification for choices • Recommendations • Implementation • Structure and presentation as a consultancy report • Demonstration of links between theory and practical application to the host organisation The INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANCY REPORT should display an ability to integrate tools, techniques and learning across the client organisation’s issues and should draw sound conclusions that lead to realistic and attainable recommendations. There should also be explicit plans for implementation that are sensitive to the organisational context. Suggested areas the report could cover may include: • Identification and clear definition of the main organisational issue(s)/problem(s) to be addressed; which aspects of the issue/problem were you responsible for thorough analysis and evaluation? • What were the key strategic tools relevant to the issues/problems you were responsible for addressing? • Analysis, Assessment, Mapping & Integration of these strategic tools to help resolve the issues/problems • Identification of potential solution(s) • Recommended solution(s) with justification underpinned by academic and practical elements using logical arguments from a strategic perspective • Implementation plan • Referencing (Harvard) • Appendices (e.g. academic underpinning, data and detailed analysis)
