EIRK and ERT is used for Struggling Readers during Intervention. The curriculum for ELA with social studies embedded is the Red, White, and Blue SRA Imagine It Unit 9. This is a kindergarten classroom. There is a teacher and teacher assistant. An instructional coach comes in for 45 minutes to provide instructional support and extra support for students performing on a low level. The instructional time for ELA is 130 minutes. There are 17 students. The class consist of 9 males and 8 females. The lower students receive ERK and the higher students receive ERT. These students receive additional support in reading, 1 student receive Tier 3 speech and behavior.The student with the behavior has a modified day.My mentor teaches the contents math, ELA and Social Studies. 60 minutes of instructional time is math.
