During this time Martin Luther King JR. was recently killed a few months earlier. When this people assumed it was a one time thing for the assassination's political figures. That all changed when Kennedy now people everywhere were nervous and scared for what was going to happen next. Who was going to be killed next ? Along with Vice President Humprhy became President. It shook the nation into fear nd worry about the future and questioned our safety. After Nixon shortly became president. thus continuing history into a dark time(aka Watergate)
