Art Descriptive Paragraph Assignment Sheet Paragraph Assignment: You are to describe a chosen piece of art according to the format presented in class. The chosen art piece should be based on the environment. Essay Requirements: • Your paragraph must be at least 14 sentences • Include vocabulary words • Your paragraph must be typed in a Word document. • Your paragraph must be typed in MLA format (heading and page numbers). • The hard copy is due at the start of class on the due date. This includes the assignment sheet, the paragraph, a picture of your art piece, and the rubric. • The electronic copy must be submitted through the plagiarism tool by midnight on the due date. • Late papers will be penalized 10 points for EACH day late. Paragraph Structure: • Topic Sentence • Provide enough evidence and details to support your main idea • Include transitional words and phrases • Include a summary statement * Remember that there are requirements specific to an art descriptive paragraph.
