Business Research Project
1st Marker (NM):
This BRP seeks to investigate the influence of consumer behaviour on grocery purchase in supermarket chains in London.
However, the reason for choosing a topic of this nature is unclear, and the rationale has nothing of value to add to what is already known. The ToR is unfounded, too many research questions (most of which are irrelevant), unclear research objectives and a confused methodology section. Furthermore, it is unclear why you have chosen to focus on Beckton alone.
The literature review is also rather fragmented and all over the place (please see my specific comments in the body of your work).
Your methodology is not linked to your subject matter, but discussed in more generic terms, which adds little or no value to the problem at hand.
With all these flaws it is impossible to have a project that makes sense from a business research project perspective.
Overall you have failed to adequately respond to the assessment brief.
1st Marker grade agreed.
An excellent structured work, unfortunately, content-wise you need further more development.
Your literature is somewhat satisfactory. In general, the topic sentences in a literature review does not illustrate the connection across multiple studies: Also have not made any common agreement/disagreement, the similar focus or the related limitation.
Your methodology is highly generic; there is no rationale provided but direct statements about what you are going to do.
In the analysis section, you have only presented your findings; there is no visible analysis or discussion visible. Your analysis or the discussion should be logical, and comprehensive. The discussion should meld together your findings of those identified in the literature review, and placed within the context of the theoretical framework underpinning the study. None of these aspects is visible in this study.
This research project indicates some evidence of engagement with an area of study about the acquisition of knowledge and understanding of concepts and principles, and of specialist skills, but which is essentially misinterpreted. This work also contains some significant omission(comprehensive discussion) otherwise just fails to meet threshold standards to pass.
