I) Compare and contrast Martin Luther King's arguments with that of the SNCC leaflet. How do they differ from each other? Do they make any similar arguments? Explain. 2) Which argument makes more sense to you, keeping in mind neither was completely successful. Try to consider this from the perspective of a black American living in the 1960s rather than a student living in 2013. 3) Do you agree with the Supreme Court decision that the Voting Rights Act is no longer necessary? Should it be reinstated? Why or why not? According to the article, what issues have started to emerge as a result of it's repeal by the Supreme Court?
