Country Report on Ghana You will be asked to complete a country report by the end of course. Each week, you will have one section due. We will provide you with feedback that you can use in your final report due in week 7. Similar to the Research Briefs, you are expected to write the report and all sections in a scholarly manner with appropriate citations. The country report should be written in a formal/scholarly style, similar to the research briefs. You must select a low or middle income country for the report. Each component on the section should be approximately a paragraph. When compiling the final report, you must add section headers. The sections are as follows: The sections are as follows: Country Selection—it MUST be a low or middle income country Country chosen Identify 4 good references about the country Country background a. Name and location of country b. Environment c. Population size and basic demographics d. Economy & poverty levels Description of the country’s health system Type of health system Description of healthcare delivery Funding Covered services Major health issues and top three causes of mortality a. Top 3 causes of mortality b. Major health issues c. Child mortality and causes d. Major barriers to health and healthcare Social and environmental factors in health a. Describe the social that contribute to diseases prevalent in your selected country b. Describe environmental factors that contribute to diseases prevalent with in your selected country c. Discuss barriers to prevention and treatment. d. Discuss something the country (or an NGO in the country) is doing to address these issues The final report should be organized as a paper with an added introduction and conclusion. You are expected to use the feedback provided throughout the course.
