read the “Bang and Olufsen: Design Driven Innovation” case and answer the following questions:
1. What is your assessment of the competitive situation in which Bang and Olufsen (B&O) finds itself in 2006? What are they good at? What should they be worried about?
2. Take a closer look at B&O design process. How would you describe it?
3. What are the strengths and weaknesses of the design process?
4. What is your assessment of IdeaLab approach to changing the B&O design process? Do you think it
will work?
5. Have a look at B&O Shops and/or website. Do you think B&O has managed to extend their product range into virtual space? Answer with examples.
The assessment will consist of a maximum 1000-word answer. You are expected to use the concepts discussed during the class in your answers.
