Case Study
Mary Francis McCalheny is an 86 year old female who lives alone. She has been having loose stools for the past three days. She states that she has been eating only small meals and drinking a cup or two of water a day. She complaints of being weak and just can’t do any of her usual activities of daily living due to just being “worn out”. She has not had any new medications. She stated this started after she ate dinner at a local buffet. When you ask her to describe her stools she tells you they are like water and brown in color. She states she also has cramping off and on. She states that she sometimes almost doesn’t make it to the bathroom and has been incontinent of stool. Please list the following information:
