INSTRUCTOR: Good morning, students. What can I do for you?
STUDENT 1: Why did I get a D on that test? It's not fair.
STUDENT 2: I studied everything in the book and I still didn't pass. It was unfair.
STUDENT 1: Yeah, you just like the other students better than us.
INSTRUCTOR: Questions came from the book and the class activities. I see that you both missed a lot of classes.

INSTRUCTOR 1: Hi Bob. How's your EKG class going?
INSTRUCTOR 2: I have this student, Joey Mays, who is a real mess.
INSTRUCTOR 1: I know what you mean. He's in my fundamentals class. Some days, I feel like pulling my hair out. He is so frustrating
INSTRUCTOR 2: So what about that Sally Grimes?
INSTRUCTOR 1: Where do we get some of these students?

INSTRUCTOR 1: Hi, Dave, got a minute?
INSTRUCTOR 2: Sure, Marge. What's up?
INSTRUCTOR 1: I really don't know what to do.
INSTRUCTOR 2: Let's go to my office, where it's more private. What's the matter?
INSTRUCTOR 1: I have an ethical issue. The provost wants me to tweak the pass rates on our exams. He has to give a report to the board, and wants to make it look like we're doing better than we are. I just don't want to get fired. But to fix grades?
INSTRUCTOR 2: You do have a problem. What are your options? What do you think you should do?

INSTRUCTOR: OK class. Here we are with Mrs. Jacobs. As you can see, Mrs. Jacobs is not feeling very well. So who would like to try taking her blood pressure?
And someone else can get the IV started. OK. One of you get someone to clean this up.
