Let's evaluate the pros and cons of using verbal reports for various research problems and, where they don't seem like a good idea, what other methods might be appropriate. Read Discussion Question #6 on page 326 of your textbook and study the five different research problems that are described. Pick one, evaluate it, and share your answer here. If someone else has already commented on that research problem, do another one. If every problem has been selected, then comment on someone else's answer. In your postings, try to point out why the Nisbett & Wilson article ("Telling More Than We Can Know") supports your position or is irrelevant in this case.
