Federal government of Nevada’s land area

The federal government controls over 85% of Nevada’s land area. This has allowed the federal government to test nuclear weapons (Nevada Test Site), conduct secret military exercises (Area 51), and most recently, plans to store spent nuclear fuel (Yucca Mountain). Grazing rights on land controlled by the Bureau of Land Management has also been a constant source of tension (the Sagebrush Rebellion). This was most recently illustrated by the Cliven Bundy standoff in Southeastern Nevada. Do you think that it is fair that Nevadans have so little control over their physical space? If the land was to be controlled by Nevada what revenue sources should be used to govern these spaces?
