Question 6 The word Sharia means the path to the watering hole and is a code of living most Muslims adopt as part of their faith. Some countries formally institute it as law of the nation. However, the way in which Sharia law is applied varies from country to country. Some Muslims would like to have Sharia law exist in Canada while others are vehemently opposed to such an idea.
