ARC MAP Lab Work: 1. Using Google map, find the Latitude and Longitude of Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Richmond, Terre Haute and Hammond. 2. Create a shape file with point feature to get these cities. First declare the projection system as geographic coordinate system. Save the shape file with the co-ordinate system (Indiana Cities GCS). 3. Reproject the same file using 1983 State Plan Indiana West with meter units. Save as Indiana Cities SPC). Add fields Population 2000, Population 2006. Add the data (use the web to find the statistics) 4. Capture the Indiana State using Google map and geo-reference the map using any four cities using Indiana Cities GCS. 5. Using arc catalog, create a shape file Indiana IS with line feature. 6. Draw the I-65, I70 and I 69 in the shape file Indiana IS. Use the geo-referenced map.
