What does ?being alive well? mean and how is it achieved? b) What are the obstacles or threats to Cree understandings of health? What is the relationship between health and Cree identity? How is her ethnography applied to health issues? In your conclusion, briefly discuss the following topic addressed in the Appendix: Reading Ethnography of the Lavenda and Schultz text (p. 190): What critical or theoretical issues are addressed in the Adelson ethnography? Most of this material is in chapter 1 of the Adelson book, in her discussion of concepts of health. In the conclusion, also briefly discuss your reactions to the ethnography. The paper must also integrate relevant concepts or ideas from the Lavenda and Schultz text. Briefly discuss how these concepts are relevant to Adelson?s material. Does her use of these concepts differ from the text? Each of the 3 summaries must include a minimum of 2 concepts from the Lavenda and Schultz text. Your conclusion must address the Appendix material discussed above. The total paper length should be about 7 pages, not including title pages and bibliography page. Papers exceeding 7 pages will not be penalized. Each of the 3 theme discussions (including integrated Lavenda and Schultz text concepts) should be about 2 pages. The conclusion should be about 1 page.
