History Class Extra Credit Total Points: 50 Assignment: Visit the Greenville County Museum of Art (there is no cost to visit the museum) and view the South Carolina exhibit. 1. Choose two painting from the collection 2. Photograph them 3. Complete a brief biographical sketch of the artist (name, lifespan, and focus of art) and place that on a page with the title of the painting along with the photograph 4. Complete a one page explanation of why you chose this painting and how does it relate to a topic in history that we are discussing this semester. 5. Please follow the same guidelines for formatting as the essay 6. Assignment is due 23 November (HIS 202) or 24 November (HIS 201)
