ICE 4 (10 Points):

Based on the criteria covered in class, Paper 2 Notes (title, intro., thesis, organization, evidence, etc.), and your own personal preferences, identify what you see as the two best, most convincing Paper 2 models, and explain why. Do not just summarize what the papers do; evaluate how and why they are convincing and meet the criteria well. Refer to the criteria you identify, and provide evidence from the papers as you write. Ideally, an in-class essay should have an introduction (with thesis), separate body paragraphs (one for each of the two papers in this case), and a conclusion. (See “Grading Rubric for ICEs” under the “Documents” link.) As you work, save the document to the desktop and/or a flash-drive. Type the document in Word using the same format, font, margins, as for papers (except spacing should be 1.5). Avoid major grammar errors (RFW Chapters 19 & 20). When finished, save document, save a backup copy (e-mail), and submit via Blackboard.
