Discuss identity development in emerging adulthood, a time when young adults begin to experiment with various roles and lifestyles and represents an individual's journey of independence. Recentering is the process, which consists of three stages and underlies one's shift into an adult identity. Describe your personal transition through each individual stage and the factors, which influenced you along the way. If you have not yet entered stage 3, predict what your life may look like at that point.
