must use AP style Munirah Alazzaz crime story Two people met their unfortunate death after a shooting incident that took place in front of Collinwood High School in Cleveland at around 3:15pm. The two succumbed instantly due to gunshot injuries that were inflicted after the sudden drive by shooting, which is characteristic of gang related violence. The victims were young men, both aged 22 years old. A police spokesperson says “ a third victim, believed to be a woman in her late teens, ran from the scene bleeding, and was picked up by a car” police do not have description of the car and not yet identified the young woman.Police detectives arrived at the scene after receiving report about the incident. One of the police officers assigned to the case, Kevin Schultz, remarked that there is a high chance that the incident had to with warring drug dealers. This suspicion was also supported by an unidentified witness who claimed that the shooting was a result of a drug deal gone bad earlier in the day. Schultz added that identification of the bodies was yet to be done as next of kin were yet to come forward. He was shocked that the shooting took place when other students were in the vicinity. Schultz said “They just missed hitting a group of seven students and their teacher who had just walked into the building. The door and the walls around them were sprayed pretty good. We are guessing that the drive by shooters were firing multiple automatic weapons, probably Uzis or Mac 10s.” Members at the school expressed their shock about the incident with the social studies teacher, Mary Z. Doates , saying “We just got back from the Natural History Museum. When the shooting started we didn’t know what was happening ‘til the glass shattered in the doors…then we all just hit the floor.” More information will be released to the public as investigations continue.
