I will attach another requirement about this ethical paper, it's more about how the instructor will grade the paper. try to include all the categories that showed on list. Thank you so much!!!!
So the ethical situation that I've been met during my clinical experience was: This baby boy was only 40hours after delivered, has high fever, diagnosis of jaundice. He just been transferred from
labor & delivery to Pediatric department. mom's holding the baby, daddy was taking care of both mom and baby. Me and the RN took the vital signs for the baby. then we left and closed the door. After
that I checked baby's medication, noticed he has his Hep B vaccine due before discharge. I went to ask the RN if I can give the vaccine to the baby with my instructor. But the RN told me that his
parents refused any vaccine for their baby. I was trying to find out the reason behind that, but the parents refused to share their religion with me. The RN told me that they has a little defense
from any medication treatment or nursing care. So we were just trying to leave them alone, keep their privacy.
