Policy brief paper( Recommend a policy) Order Description Re: collaborative relation with the countries with most asylum seekers population in Australia We cannot stop the Asylum seekers from coming to Australia. Often they do not have any kind of identification. But we can make collaborative relation with the countries that refugees come from and get all their background information and their legit identification. However, this requires diplomatic relation in order to obtain this information. Some of asylum seekers use fake passport to enter Australia and then try to seek Asylum here. We have to control who come to Australia and what is their background. instruction :This Assignment is a short policy briefing paper written for the Australian Government, recommending for or against a change or reform to some aspect of national security policy. It is intended to make a concise, persuasive and evidence-based argument for or against change or reform to some aspect of national security policy. The change or reform can be major or minor, and could for instance relate to a decision, a deployment, a piece of legislation, a power, a policy process or a policy structure. Part of the challenge here is to be creative but realistic, and to write something that is clear and concise yet substantive. Students should choose who is the intended reader of their briefing paper. It could for instance be the Prime Minister, a particular Minister, or the National Security Committee of Cabinet. Students should also choose who is the hypothetical author of their briefing paper. It could be the head of an agency or department, or a senior ministerial or prime ministerial adviser. The context could be the current Government or a future Government, however this is a hypothetical exercise so please do not use the names of officials or ministers. A sample format for this assignment will be provided in the first two weeks of semester, along with anonymous examples of quality pieces of such work. Unlike the research essay, this should involve minimal referencing: typically, just sufficient reference to data or official public documents to provide necessary evidence to support the argument being made. This is a deliberately simplified, stylised format, so that students can focus their efforts solely on quality of content. Please note that this does not precisely mimic an existing type of Australian Government policy document, and there is no need to add security classifications or handling instructions. Students who work within the national security community should obviously ensure that their assignment is based entirely in what is known in the public domain.
