A tentative proposal can be discussed, and a formal statement should be presented with initial bibliography. A list of possible themes and topics is on Blackboard, but is not limited to these topics. Full library and internet bibliographic references are outlined in text, readings and e-mails to students, but by no means are you limited to exploring only the references mentioned. There are web references also available in Blackboard. The paper should be approximately 10 pages, typed, in APA style. The statement of topic (1-2 pages, typed) should contain: Research topic; How you plan to research the topic; If possible a brief outline; List of major films (6-10 at a minimum) you intend to use; Other bibliographic sources (articles, on line sources, books, etc.) Expand research to academic articles and books, do not limit research to web review materials.
