Schizophrenia implementing assessment tools in primary Care
Schizophrenia implementing assessment tools in primary Care
1-1.5 pages Provides a concise, logical section that introduces what the problem or gap in nurse practitioner clinical practice is: Early diagnosis of Schizophrenia in primary care. Provides a
compelling glimpse into the problem to introduce it to the audience Section completely and clearly answers what is the problem? what is the background of the problem? what is the significance of
the problem? how does this affect your clinical setting? how will the project proposal paper be organized?
Section 2 Uses literature to effectively provide full description of a known clinical guideline or best practice that will address the problem identified in part one Provides a clear complete
operational definition of the clinical protocol. Logically explains and justifies how the synthesized research evidence supports the use of the clinical protocol. Explains why benefits of
implementing (the PANSS and BPRS assessment tools) and clinical protocol outweigh what is currently occurring in practice.
Part 3 3-3.5 pages Fully describes 3-4 primary research studies (USA research) that have implemented the clinical guideline This includes research study purpose, sample study design, instruments,
data collection, data analysis, results study limitations and implications for practice. Compares and contrasts each of the studies to logically determine which of the studies will be most feasible
to implement in this project.
Part 4 3-3.5 pages presents a logical detailed feasible plan to implement the clinical guideline in your clinical practice setting. Describes how buy-in for project will be obtained Evaluation
method that will be used to determine if implementation has been effective is fully described. Realistic timeline is included that includes all the steps of the implementation and evaluation is
provided. Tables and figures are in appendices that are complete and visually appealing
