Assignment # 6 – Final Report Value 20% Length 1000-1200 words (not including front/back matter) Due November 25, 2015 Submission Instructions Please bring a hardcopy to class; submit an electronic copy to D2L Dropbox before class on Wednesday. Assignment Instructions Your proposal/report should include at least one relevant graph, chart, photo, or illustration. Label graphics correctly and be sure to refer to them in the text. The body section of the proposal/report should be between 1000 and 1250 words. The number of pages will depend on the type and number of graphic elements you incorporate into your report. The proposal/report should be written in a polished and professional manner. Deductions will be levied for incorrect grammar, spelling, inaccurate formatting, etc. All sources, including those for any graphs, charts, photos or illustrations must be cited. Ensure that your proposal/report includes appropriate headings. The headings may be functional (describing the general topics—i.e. Background, Findings), talking (providing more information or interest), or a combination of the two. Fully researched and all sources and visuals must be cited using APA citations. No plastic covers please, just a staple. Assignment Situation You are free to choose your own topic. However, your oral presentation and the report should be on the same topic. Assignment Checklist Does the report do what you set out to do? Does the report look professional? Do the opening sections give the reader a clear overview of the report? Does the introduction set the stage and supply outside information to fill in any knowledge gaps the readers might have? Is the core problem reflected in the purpose statement? Is your analysis thorough and specific? Does the body of the report flow toward, and support your conclusions and recommendations? Have you used substantial research and cited sources in APA style?
