THE BOOK: Breath, Eyes, Memory
THE BOOK: Breath, Eyes, Memory
Please do not make the essay too smart! make it simple and straight to the point. Im not a scholar and this class does not mean too much to me. I have the assignment here: Reflection papers (1-2 pages)
Written reflections papers based on the selected text. These papers should demonstrate not only an understanding of the text but also genuine critical inquiry into the issues and exploration of ideas not necessarily discussed in class. Some guiding questions: What is my initial response to the text? What are the main ideas/critical themes/arguments in the text? What insights are revealed in this text on the U.S.? The Caribbean? On men and women? These papers are due on the first day the class begins examination of a new text (i.e. after the completion of the text being written about).
