Topic: Findings and conclusion
Order Description
order 4 pages, the first three pages for the "findings" part of the assignment. The last page for the conclusion part.
This is mainly a statistic assignment. You only need to do the part 6) "Findings"( 3 pages) and part 7) "conclusion" (1 page) in assignment #4. You can find the instructions in my attachment. This is the assignment 4 of my term paper. I have done three chapters before and i have uploaded them. I also uploaded an student example. It is not a good example, but it can give you some ideas of how this assignment look like. The student uses dummy variables in his assignment, but I don't think I need dummy variables.
My topic is about research the relationship between foreign investment and economic growth. It is based on the equation Y=C+I+G+NX. The I could be considered as foreign investment. I selected 10 Africa countries from 1980 to 2000 as my data points. You can find more details in my assignment #3. C, I, G and NX are my four independent variables.
You need to use data points of 10 countries from 1980 to 2000 to figure out coefficient of each independent variable. Use consumption data to calculate C, use foreign investment to calculate I, use Government spending for G and Net export for NX. Also, you need to figure out R square and other necessary factors for this regression model. You can use t or s test to test the significance. To test if it is significant, positive or negative effect and how strong the effect is.
Be sure answer my hypothesis in assignment #3 and make one or two table and figure at the end of assignment #4 as appendix to show all the findings clearly. Be sure to include coefficient, R square and X1, X2, X3 and X4 in the table.
In findings part, you need to Discuss:
-correlation between variables
-explanatory ability of the model
-how results support competing hypotheses
Present:
-tables of statistical findings
In conclusion part, you need Restate:
-research objectives, data used, analytical results and significance of the effort(refer to my assignment #1,2,and 3)
You can use stata software to do regression part.
