Topic: Management Week 6

Order Description PART 1 No one enjoys bad news or critical feedback, or do they? Constructive and critical feedback is important in improving performance. If you don’t know what you’re doing is wrong, how do you fix it if no one tells you? Describe at time when you received critical feedback (be specific) and how this feedback lead to your improved performance. This could be in reference to a hobby, school, work, or other situation. PART 2 (REFLECTION) Organizational Culture: In chapter 12, p. 497, Highlight 12.6, Edgar Schein is introduced as a significant figure in the theory of organizational development, career development, group process consultation, and organizational culture. Briefly provide a historical background on Schein’s theory’s and describe an organization you were or are a part of in terms of these 4 factors: myths/symbols/ritual/language. How do you think those factors affect leadership in that organization? Your response should be approximately 100 to 300 words.
