Topic: The relationship between human and non-human animals (i.e., are humans different, how are they different, how do we know they are different)?

Order Description Instruction: You will trace the development of the idea or debate from the earliest time that you can find evidence of it, to the present day. You must include at least three distinct time periods in your paper, focusing on what was happening with the idea or debate at that time. You are not required to take a position or state a thesis for your paper; you simply need to present a historical account of the manner in which the idea or debate changed/developed/evolved over time, including the key people who were involved, and any economic or political events that influenced these changes. The paper must be at least 12 pages, exclusive of front matter and back matter, and must include at least 10 high-quality scholarly references. These references can be books, book chapters, or academic journal articles. No other sources are to be used. Your paper must be in APA format. Final note: I will upload powerpoint documents of lecture materials and a word document of my own writing (this can be a start). Feel free to look up A History of Psychology (4th ed.) by J. G. Benjafield. This is the textbook for reference.
