Topic: The strong influence of Seamus Heaney's patriarchal elders (father and grandfather) as well as the effect of his mother and his aunt to him, such that in his poems he always refers to his family members.

Order Description The topic is based on Seamus Heaney's poems, "Digging" "Follower" "Midterm Break" "Sunlight" "Churning Day". Please read all poems, you can find it online, as you have to refer to all them throughout the paper. Introduction - you should start with a quote from Heaney's poems relevant to idea and then explain the quote. You should give brief information of how he is influenced by his parents and what he tells in his poems. (kind of a summary but very brief - tell the common points in all his writings) You should then write the thesis, it should be clear and specific. "While in his poems, “Follower”, “Digging” Heaney depicts his father as a symbol of masculinity with both his personality and profession, contradictorily, in his poem “Midterm Break” he represents his father as weak character. Although Heaney is dominantly influenced by his patriarchal elders, femininity also has a profound impact on his personality, in a way that he refers to his aunt and mother in his poems, “Sunlight” and “Churning Day” respectively. Throughout his poems, Seamus Heaney clearly emphasizes the significance of family bonding, by exposing his strong relationships with his maternal relationships." This is an example introduction ending I wrote but by context its not well. Please write a clear and arguable thesis. Body: two body paragraphs will be about the masculinity and two will be about femininity and the last body will be about how his father had changed and became weak. (In total there will be 5 body paragraphs) Body 1: In body one show how his father's and grandfathers profession (being farmers and dealing with agriculture) had a deep impact on Heaney as he saw them as role models. Refer to Digging and Follower poems or if you find relevant poems of Heaney about family relationships refer to them as well. Please use strong quotations from poems and cite them. Make sure to analyze the quote. You should use an external source in this paragraph. Find a review or article written for Seamus Heaney about how he admired his father and grandfather. (Possible article is in Jstor: Following Seamus Heaney’s “Follower”: Toward a Performative Criticism” written by John Boly. Please use quotations and pharaprase from the article you find to support your idea. Body 2: In every body introduction you should have a clear topic sentence that specifically describes the information will be presented. You should state in this paragraph how Heaney was influenced by his fathers personality or anything else. How he saw him as a heroic person. You should find a relevant scholarly source as well for this topic. Again you should refer to Heaney's poems as well. Make sure you infer to how he was influenced by them that in his poems he writes all about h masculinity. The descriptive language he uses can be highlighted. Body 3: Now you should have a good transition because you will state how femininity had a strong impact on Heaney. He mentions his mother in his poem Churning Day and if you search there are more poems that he refers to his mother. Analyze what the effect her mother had and give quotes from the poems. You should find a relevant scholarly source for this body as well showing how femininity played a significant role in Heaney's writings and life. Body 4: Similarly to Body 3, he dedicates a poem to his aunt Mary Heaney which the poem is Sunlight. You should make a good analysis of the poem and find a scholarly source about the Sunlight poem and his aunts effect on him. Throughout the paper you should show how masculinity and femininity both had a great influence (maybe father side was more dominant) Body 5: Interestingly in Midterm Break poem by Heaney, he portrays his father as a weak character when compared to others. You should state how Heaney contradicted and portrayed his father different. Please use good quotations from the poem and also again find a scholarly source of how Midterm Break poem was different than Digging and Follower by Heaney's thoughts. Language: Please use the proper MLA citation in every quote you have. Please write an additonal works cited page with citing the poems and all the scholarly sources you used. Please write full 7 seven pages. Please dont use passive voice. Please write in a very sophisticated language with full of advanced vocabulary. Please use transitional words between topics. Please make sure to use relevant quotes from sources and poems and support them will good analysis. Please find the schoalrly sources supportive and effective to the idea. For each body (5 of them) you should have a scholarly source, if one source is relevant to other bodies topic you can add information to that as well but in total you should use 4 certain distinct scholarly sources about Heaney. Having a well developed specific thesis and then specific topic sentences that arise from the thesis is the most important thing. For conclusion, the ending should be effective. Either finish it with a quote or a question. I would really appreciate if you would finish it on time with the advanced quality i required.
