Topic: Voices of Freedom

Order Description Assignment- Choose 3 of people or groups from Eric Foner's Voices of Freedom book and fully develop them analytically. Not 3 separate biographies!Paper that compares and contrasts the individual in a flowing nerrative that focuses on the idea of freedom. How did each interpret the concept of freedom? What contributions did they make to their times? What challenges did they face? How did they see the idea of freedom extended to others? ( what does freedom mean to these people, and how do they compare to eachother?) some ideas: JOhn Adams, Fredrik Douglas, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington.
